Following Jesus is the ongoing commitment of framing and shaping our values, priorities, and lives to align with His. It means trusting Him in every aspect of life, growing to be more like Him through spiritual practices, and living out His example by sharing our faith, inviting others to follow Him, and loving people as He loves us.

We are created to be in community. Real community celebrates with one another and mourns with one another. Real community pushes each other toward Christ and holds each other accountable when we fall. We gather in community to grow in our relationship with God and to encourage, care, and be known by others.

God has been generous to us through His Son. We return that generosity by giving open-handedly our time through serving others both in and outside of the church, our talents by using our gifting in the church, and our finances through regular giving towards the mission of God within the local church.

Healthy things grow and healthy things multiply. We seek to support what God is doing and find ways to start new things God wants to do. Whether that is partnering with churches and ministries to reach and love our community or that is sending out and starting new churches to fulfil the Great Commission, we want to be faithful to where God is working and moving.

Frank Gil
Frank is the lead pastor of Cross & Crown Church. With a deep passion for making disciples who make disciples, he has dedicated his life to preaching the gospel, equipping believers, and leading the church to be a community of hope and change.
Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Frank is a first generation Cuban-American who played football at Jefferson High School and graduated from Trinity College of Florida in Trinity, Florida.
Before launching Cross & Crown Church, Frank served for a decade in Milwaukee as a youth pastor, campus pastor, and one of the teaching pastors. His heart for the local church is rooted in a desire to see people transformed by the good news of the gospel and see churches start new churches.
Frank is married to his wife Corinne, and has a mini Goldendoodle named Moby. They love the Marvel Cinematic Universe, eating good Cuban food, and visiting the Disney parks.
