Together, they provide spiritual leadership, equip others for ministry, and help guide Cross & Crown Church according to the principles and pattern found in God's Word.
Frank Gil
Lead Pastor
Frank Gil, Lead Pastor
Frank is the lead pastor of Cross & Crown Church. With a deep passion for making disciples who make disciples, he has dedicated his life to preaching the gospel, equipping believers, and leading the church to be a community of hope and change.
Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Frank is a first generation Cuban-American who played football at Jefferson High School and graduated from Trinity College of Florida in Trinity, Florida.
Before launching Cross & Crown Church, Frank served for a decade in Milwaukee as a youth pastor, campus pastor, and one of the teaching pastors. His heart for the local church is rooted in a desire to see people transformed by the good news of the gospel and see churches start new churches.
Frank is married to his wife Corinne, and has a mini Goldendoodle named Moby and a Labordoodle named Charlie (not pictured). They love the Marvel Cinematic Universe, eating good Cuban food, and visiting the Disney parks.

Sara Auger

Sara Auger, Worship Director
Growing up, Sara has been singing in the church ever since she was a little girl. At 11 years old, she dedicated her life to the Lord and have continued to learn and grow in her faith ever since. She pursued a degree in Music Education from the University of South Florida and spent several years teaching in the public school system here in Tampa.
After the pandemic, her family found their way to Lakeview Church, where she eventually had the opportunity to serve as Worship Director. She fell in love with leading, mentoring, and discipling others through music ministry. It’s been such a privilege for her to help people encounter the Lord through worship and to encourage others to use their gifts to glorify Him.
Sara’s goal for worship ministry at Cross & Crown is to set the table for each person to encounter Jesus right where they are and to glorify God together as one united body of believers.
In her free time, you'll usually find her reading a good book or enjoying a good meal at home with friends and family. She and her husband, Matt, who also serves at Cross & Crown, have four beautiful children. When they're not at church, they're probably exploring the Georgia mountains or taking a spontaneous trip to Disney World.

Oversight
We believe biblical elders provide essential spiritual leadership, wisdom, and accountability for the church. As Cross & Crown grows, we will prayerfully appoint qualified elders who will faithfully lead, care for, and shepherd our church family.
In the meantime, Cross & Crown is connected to a church planting network called Converge, with Lakeview Church serving as our sending church. We operate within an accountability structure of outside pastors who provide spiritual oversight and accountability as we grow. Cross & Crown is also a part of the Missio Collective that connects church to make disciples, multiple leaders, and plant churches together.
