A church-wide community service project that gives us the opportunity to roll up our sleeves, serve our neighbors, and show the love of Jesus in practical ways.

The morning of our LoveLocal event will start by gathering with other Cross & Crown volunteers and meeting the team you’ll be serving with. From there, you’ll head out together to serve a local organization, help meet a practical need, and show the love of Jesus in a tangible way. You don’t need to have special skills or experience...just come ready to serve, work alongside others, and make a difference in our community.
Once your project is complete, all of our teams will come back together for lunch, share stories from the morning, and celebrate what we were able to accomplish together. It’s a simple way to step outside the walls of the church, serve our neighbors, and be part of something bigger than ourselves.
Together, we partner with local organizations to meet real needs in our community and put our faith into action. Below, you’ll find details about each service project for our upcoming LoveLocal event, including what you’ll be doing and how you can sign up.
Take a look through the projects, find the one that’s right for you and your family, and get ready to serve our community together.

If weather affects a project, we’ll communicate any changes or cancellations to registered volunteers as soon as possible.
We believe serving our community is one practical way we can love our neighbors and show them the love of Jesus. LoveLocal gives us the opportunity to step outside the walls of the church and make a difference right where we live.
We Serve Because He First Served Us
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10–11

Use the gifts God has given you to love people, serve our church, and make a difference in our community.

Giving is an act of worship as we invest in God’s work and what He is doing through His church in our community.
Still have questions for us?
Feel free to send us an email. We'll get back to you as soon as possible and look forward to connecting with you.
